Job Description
- Assist in providing basic patient care, such as taking vital signs, assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and helping patients use the restroom
- Monitor patients’ conditions, report changes to the nursing team, and document progress
- Assist with transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and lifts
- Respond to patients’ call lights in a timely manner
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Nursing Assistant certification
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
